Our Mission
Our mission is to bring salvation and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, through teaching and training resulting in an outward display of service to God and his people. Day by day and by the Grace of God, William H. Murphy, Jr. walks the path of his God-given mandate of “Reclaiming the Church, the House of Prayer”.

Our Vision
Our vision is to lead people, to a place in God, that they have not traditionally known. We walk by faith and not by sight! Our goal is to increase our territory through citywide prayer meetings; weekly intercessory prayer sessions; local, regional, and national prayer workshops and conferences for the gospel.

At GEM, our First Lady has been instrumental in recruiting and developing a team that is responsible for developing programs that deal with matters that are relevant for women of all ages as well as programming designed to build self-esteem in our youth and prepare them for a life of service to God and His people.

On December 15, 1971, Pastor Murphy, Sr. and a group of 54 followers met at 2705 Joy Road being inspired by the Holy Spirit, organized a church body dedicated to do the will of God and were inspired to name her Greater Ebenezer Ministries. Now we are one of the areas fastest growing churches led by Bishop William H. Murphy, Jr. Join us online or in person. Leave feeling strengthened and encouraged.

Also known as “The High Place”. The future of Bishop Murphy has been serving the New Mount Moriah International Church family, located in Pontiac, Michigan for 30 years. New Mount Moriah International is bright as they continue to serve parishioners and the community through youth mentoring programs, summer enrichment programs, offering food and clothing to those in need, as well as spiritual enlightenment.
